Shed Test
Page 17, Section 9.2.15 of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and Reservations of Easements for Meadow Lakes Homeowners Association states "Such outbuildings…must be constructed with siding materials and shingles to match the Dwelling Unit."
Here are pictures of five sheds that were taken in the development. Only one shed meets the above Rule. Can you tell which one it is?

Page 17, Section 9.2.15 of the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and Reservations of Easements for Meadow Lakes Homeowners Association states "Such outbuildings…must be constructed with siding materials and shingles to match the Dwelling Unit."
Example 1 – This shed has shingles that match the “Dwelling Unit” (home), and it is painted to match the color of the home, but if you look closely, you will see vertical lines in the siding, yet the home’s siding has horizontal lines. This shed is constructed with T-111 siding which is a form of wood, and not vinyl siding. This does not meet the above rule because the siding material is different from the “Dwelling Unit.”
Example 2 - This shed has shingles that match the “Dwelling Unit” (home) but if you look closely, you will see vertical lines in the siding, yet the home’s siding has horizontal lines. Also, this shed is not even painted to match the color of the house. This shed is constructed with T-111 siding which is a form of wood, and not vinyl siding. This does not meet the above rule because the siding material and color is different from the “Dwelling Unit.”
Example 3 -- This shed is made of plastic, and has no shingles or siding. The color of the shed does not match the house. This does not meet the above rule because the siding materials and shingles are supposed to match the “Dwelling Unit.”
Example 4 -- This shed has siding materials and shingles that match the “Dwelling Unit” (home). If you picked this shed you were correct.
Example 5 -- This shed has shingles that match the “Dwelling Unit” (home) but if you look closely, you will see vertical lines in the siding, yet the home’s siding has horizontal lines. Also, this shed is not even painted to match the color of the house. The house is a tan color, and the shed is a yellow color. This shed is constructed with T-111 siding which is a form of wood, and not vinyl siding. This does not meet the above rule because the siding material and color is different from the “Dwelling Unit.”
